The Names of God | Week 2 | 21 September 2025 | Abi Lycett

Abi Lycett continued our series on “The Names of God: Knowing Him, Becoming Like Him” this week, focusing on "Yahweh: The LORD, Compassionate and Gracious", in Exodus 34:5–7.

Theme: God Himself declares who He is — the LORD whose very Name is mercy, grace, patience, loyal love, faithfulness, and justice.
 
Link to Jesus: Jesus is the visible expression of this Name — full of grace and truth, forgiving sin and revealing the Father (John 1:14–18; Colossians 1:15–20).
 
Application: Live in reverent trust of who God says He is — receiving His grace daily and reflecting His compassion, faithfulness, and forgiveness to others.
